Yes... but even to new generated wip we have no documents... so far, our system generated zero quantity documents.

Dear Experts,
Our client want to define scheduler (schedule job) for period end activity which should calculate:
1. Production order Revaluation
2. Variance Calculation, KKS1
3. WIP Calculation, KKAO
4. Actual Settlement, CO88
So kindly let me know how to fix this in background with minimum manual intervention.
We need to do this for 9-10 plants, so how we need to take this:
1. To execute all the steps(1,2,3,4 and 5) for plant wise.
2. Or to execute 1st step for all the plants and then second onwards.
Because we need to consider the system performance as well. Thanks in advance for help.

To schedule a period end activities you can club them in one job and create a variant for each individual program for i.e-Variance calculation ( KKS1) . Go to SE38 type RKKKS1N0 and create a variant where you can set parameters likes plants, order type, target cost version etc. Do the same for each of the activities you want then schedule a background job.

1. Is it advisable like using other options such as creating new company codes? because i have seen in so many thread giving advices to create new Company code without going for a change over in the currency.
2. Or will it be advisable for using parallel currency USD instead of going for Change over of Local currency( note that existing parallel currency(LC2-USD) conversion takes place on the basis of local currency1.) with the change of conversion from the basis of local currency1 to transaction currency as the basis. Do we need SLO support for this as well.
also note our book dep. is in local currency (i.e. country currency). group currency (USD) transactions are derived from posting in book depreciation.
Regarding IAS, It is true that IAS is not forcing to use USD as FC but IAS has clearly defined what should be a FC currency of a company and the criterion in selecting FC.
According to that our company's FC is USD.
As per IAS below are the criterion ranking top to bottom
Functional currency of an entity will be the
currency that,
Influences the revenue of the entity
Influences the pricing policy of the entity
Influences the material, labour and other costs
In which finance is generated
In which receipts are retained
As my client fulfills all above and USD is considered as the FC.

I am researching the Value Flow Monitor report CKMVFM. On my test material, it is showing a balance in FI, and a red indicator on the FI/ML status. I assume this means there is a discrepancy between FI and Material Ledger, but I don't know how to go about researching this. I have completed all steps in the Closing Cockpit. How do I explain the difference between FI and ML, or go about reconciling the two? Thanks in advance for your assistance!

At the time of creating a new operating concern after i have defined Characteristics and Value Fields, and checking the status I received the following error:
Message no. KE434
An error occurred while Table KOMPAKE was being generated.
Analyze the error using Transaction SE11. Use the function 'Check'.
Then I wen to SE11 to check giving the table name as mentioned above, I found the following and could not fix the error;
Then after opening the Long Text it gave the following message:
Message no. DT192
Maintain the enhancement category in the table or structure maintenance in the ABAP Dictionary.
Then by opening the ((enhancement category)) link i received the following message then STOPPED where I could not do anything more!!!
Structures and tables that were defined by SAP in the ABAP Dictionary can be enhanced subsequently by customers using Customizing includes or append structures. The enhancements do not only refer to structures/ tables themselves, but also to dependent structures that adopt the enhancement as an include or referenced structure. You must select an enhancement category for the following reason: In programs where there is no active Unicode check, enhancements to tables and structures can cause syntax and runtime errors during type checks and particularly in combination with deep structures.

The rules for defining the enhancement category result implicitly from the structure setup and the classification of the types used. These rules are as follows:
If you are creating new tables and structures in the ABAP Dictionary, the system proposes the category can be enhanced in any way as standard value for the classification of the enhancement options. If the developer chooses a more restrictive classification than can be enhanced in any way for a particular structure, then only the classification levels that adhere to the rules above are allowed. It is not possible to choose an enhancement option of a structure that is more restrictive than the classification resulting immplicitly from the structure setup and from the classification of the types used. Therefore, only the allowed categories are proposed for selection in the maintenance user interface.
If a structure depends on one or several other structures, the smallest category is chosen as implicit classification (in the order cannot be enhanced< can be enhanced and character-type< can be enhanced and character-typeor numeric < can be enhanced in any way). This classification is greater than or less than the category in the other structures and also greater than or the same as the category that results from the actual setup in the original structure itself.

Hi,
AWTYP (Reference Transaction) is a field where posts automatically while posting the Accounting document number.
There are different kind of Reference Transaction are there.
1. From FI side Accounting document BKPF
2. From MM side Material document MKPF
3. From SD side Billing document VBRK
Those are standard SAP Reference Transactions, system itself updates that field, we can't change those types.
Logically Reference Transaction is as same as Header Table

Hi Gurus,
I am facing one issue with material ledger and seeking you suggestion.
There are 2 accounts 514000 (for ex gain) and 514001( for ex loss). Whenever there is gain/loss posting to these accounts wrt import MIRO, such gain/loss would get loaded on material through CKMLCP - costing cockpit execution. And it would generate opposit posting to these accounts.
(note: other gain/loss posting also go to these 2 accounts)
Per requirement, to have separate account for posting only import MIRO exchange gain/loss , I defined a substitution.So whenever there ex gain/loss system posts it to account 520001.
I ran one import cycle(PO, MIGO and MIRO), As per exchange rate in MIRO, there is ex gain posting to account 520001 as expected.
But when I run CKMLCP, this gain is not getting loaded on material. In CKM3, ex gain amount is shown in Ex Rt diff. column. And same amount is displaying in Differences column.
Could you pl suggest why its not getting loaded on material.
Price control in material master is S(std price) and price determination is 3 (Single-/Multilevel)

What date is you costing date? when is the variance calculation date?
One thing i see here is your special period suppose to be 12-16 from Period 2 . As you have special period 4.
so it should be like this in OB52
period 1- 1-12 and then period 2- 12-16
you're using a fiscal year variant that is "year-dependent" and thus you have to maintain this customizing every year in OB29 check if it is maintained.

And the fiscal year variant is not year dependent. In the above screenshot you can see the K4 variant used.

Is that period is unlocked in OKP1 as well?

OKP1 periods are not locked.has it got something to do with the versions?

Check the version ( For your version) settings in T-code OKEQ as well there might be your year missing in setting for each fiscal year.

1 In the earlier periods were you able to do KKS2 for orders?
2 Have you done any changes in the fiscal year variant recently?
3 What is the costing date from and to for the header material in the order?
4 Why are you calculating variance now for 6th period? As per your fiscal year 6th period is just started and this is normally a period end activity.
5 In OMSY the period status is the same as in OB52?
6 In MMRV what is the open period?
7 In OKEQ have you maintained version for current fiscal year?
8 Are you able to post entries in FI?
